NATURE OR NUTURE

We learnt about different plants and their use and developed an acute awareness of the environment, with whom we all developed a connection. As children, we spent practically all our waking days in the sea or rivers, or walking in the bush ' dreuveing' (walking about) searching for mangos and other fruits.

EARLY START-TRAINING FOR LIFE

We are all surrounded by the love of our immediate and extended families. It was a small warm and caring environment, in which, the respect for elders, the community and nature was encouraged and formed part of our traditional values.

Then, one day I was inspired to draw, to look and think about the origins of things. School was strict, home was strict, but there was no rules to restrict children developing in the long, hot sun filled days of the Caribbean heat, and the cooling rivers and seas, except 'learn'. Coming to England in the early sixties was in stark contrast to life in the sun. There was a cut off, a sudden rapture from the comforts, the warmth and the love of not only family, but from the environment. I was suddenly exiled from the Garden of Eden, Paradise. One moment I was in the light and the next I was in darkness. It took sometime before my eyes became accustomed to the new environment and in fact for a time, I was to be afraid of the new darkness.

COMES FROM LEARNING

TRADITION IN EARLY YEARS

The feeling of being magnificent was even more intense. In the UK one have to prove their magnificence, even though it may have been one held onto as past memories of a missed,idealist lifestyle. While schooling was quick, there were nonetheless many momentous learning opportunities, opportunities that was never wasted. School ended, but not so for the flashbacks of words of wisdom from the great grands (Grandmothers and to a lesser extent Grandfathers), their words and teaching began to flood the early etchings of my self belief and into a stimulative an imaginative game of learning, which is really what my life was about, but was the life for a great many of us. Even though it was hard to accept and understand our destiny, in terms of a purpose. I was lucky because I had an early secret, the secret of the KaLinda (a form of traditional stickfighting) and that was where the discipline and focus, the discovery of an energy and the will to win (quietly, because it made no sound, and secretly because only the elder people knew, that is where it all began).

It was not until many years later, through more structured martial arts training was I to experience, that connective energy and focus. In martial arts, we learn the opposite to everything society's norm teaches, loosing was unacceptable, the will to win, to overcome, to think positive and visualise, stood out. But this was more than just martial arts, it was or is about competing, which is really about where the essence of our life presently lies .

THE POWER OF EDUCATION

I Studied at The London College of Printing (Now the London College of Distributive Trade) in Typography Graphic Arts and Design (Dip AD) in 1976 to 1978, along the way I have met many higher and inspirational people and with a word here and a word there, gave me encouragement, to believe in myself, set goals, visualise and focus on what I wanted to achieve. I was told I couldn't draw and wasn't an artist, in contrast to what I was told at school, where I was encouraged by a very good art teacher. Still I went on to be an artist in many forms and beyond the imagination of my college lecturers. Knowing or finding out who we are is not about looking at the past, but looking beyond and past negatives brainwashing. I have had this from both family and friends, so it is not about where you come from physically, but where you are meant to be going, and I suppose this is what they call destiny. We have to live our destiny, no one knows there destiny, until they decide to overcome the negatives or conquer their fears. Destiny change constantly, as we move further or closer to where we are meant to be. College was good for me, because it enabled me to discover abstract qualities and a mindset of learning to solve problems and over come obstacles. ...'Your jobs is not to draw, but to solve problems..." Said a design lecturer. But his vision was obscured and I did not get the sort of encouragement that made me felt I wanted to do my best. I spent time avoiding the crits and not having a plan. In the end I left. Within weeks my first job was as a Graphic Artist, being exposed to management training gave me an insight into planning.

LEARNING TO OVERCOME OBSTACLES

Some people have to overcome great trials to discover their good, while others have to actually be on trial for their evil or negative deeds to be presented to them, so that they can see 'good'. The trials are feedback commentary from society on our life, thus far. We do this as a way to discovering who we are, what we are or even what we are here to do-timing has to be right and we all have to be ready (Religious teaching is based on right-wrong, good-evil, and according to religion God has created this condition to test us. On the final day we all have to give account for our deeds and intentions-if that is what you believe, it is fine), this is fundamental to teaching and learning, because achieving is a' doing' word. That implies, doing great things, to dream, to fly and to seek the treasures that is locked in the knowledge of learning. Sometimes we can also be afraid to learn, because we somehow are taught to think that we have to learn first, to learn, rather than seeing each learning experience as THE LEARNING. Equally we are afraid to do, because we are afraid to make mistakes, again because we are taught to think that making mistakes is somehow an imperfect state to be in. Whereas the fact is, making mistakes is part of the very essence of learning. Life would not be as it is today if no mistakes had been made in the past and from those mistakes we learn to create another step (alternative). I have carried the memories of all my experiences of life inside me (like we all do), in the 21st Century we call this genes (genetics, genealogy).

MISTAKES = EXPERIENCES = TALENTS = ABILITIES

SHARED LEARNING EXPERIENCE The way I see it is like this, the memories are the gene part and the experiences are the environment part and both are responsible for our learning and development. I am eager to share my life experience and experience the life of others. It is with others that our life is connected and also to learn from others about their own flights of fancy - experiences and a desire to achieve, happiness and success is life's honey sweetness that connects us all. LIFE IS... Life, I have learnt does not necessarily have an order, there are structures to everything, but no order as such (this is open to interpretation of course) because after many years of doing many things, I re alised I never left school, I mealy swapped location of the learning environment to where ever I happen to be. I kept going back to school to learn over and over again, to get feedbacks for so-called mistakes, and improve. There are no limits on improving	LEARNING FROM MISTAKES Within a learning context, it is impossible to make a mistake, nothing is a mistake, there is no such thing, there is only learning. An important lesson is to learn that not hing is final, nothing is constant, as we know it, everything is momentary, and changing, so within this structure there are never any fixe d point at which we stop or continue, change actually is stopping, continuing and the changes from one to the next. There is never a point in the changes at which we can say, we have learnt, because the process is constant (this is not simply a matter of common sense either). This became clearer to me once I had completed m y studies at the University of Greenwich, a Cert. Ed qualified te acher and a Member of the Institute for Learning (MIfL). A LONG HISTORY HARNESSING THE POWER FROM WITHIN

FROM GOAL TO REALITY We have spent many years seeking to understand exactly what is needed to turn a goal into reality. The business plan or goal is the blueprints of business operation success, designed to be followed in every detail, against which, key personnel in business can compare day-by-day decisions, with original objectives and goals. However our breakthrough discovery is the energy we have been taping into for years, this energy is described by many names, in many disciplines, but realised it is the vital component, the missing link to success, life success. We came to the realisation that with this martial energy and focus we use to smash bricks and techniques to win battles, it was the same energy that is the source to all our successes, the feel good factor, the winning edge. This energy can simply be represented as an idea. But essentially it is a vital sustaining energy, which can be realised in our focus to creatively achieve and succeed in whatever we do, to this aim visualisation is very much the key, the focus, the single mindedness and is the real secret to success. Remember the saying "be careful what you wish for. I practised a form of meditation called 'Lliama Chia', based on analytical thinking and Right knowledge. Right Attitude, Right balance, searching for the power within, to gain courage, strength and self-confidence. Over the years this energy has been tried and tested, individually and in focused groups, it has been proved time and time again. Connections with other positive thinking like minded people, inner circles and free masonic lodges comes to mind, but while we have resisted joining many groups of like minded thinkers, we have simply created our own to network with other success driven thinker, coach and mentors. The idea is to make this knowledge available to everyone, because the knowledge not only brings peace to the world it also brings prosperity, education and future economic growth. We also have to be responsible and trusted in the way we use our power from within. Thankfully there will always be safety mechanisms in place to avoid anyone tipping over the edge. This way the balance is maintained. It is also important to note, that this power is not just about making you rich, that is a choice each individual has to decide on. Indeed over the years I have heard many negative comments such as " how come your are not rich". Simple really, one can spend a great deal of time amassing money or amassing knowledge.	SELF EVALUATION We have to see levels in our development and our evolving. We preferred to amass knowledge as the first level, knowledge of self, of life, of people and of knowledge itself. Knowledge is a doing activity, extendible, sustainable and a vital tool to prepare us for the next level, money is achievable success choice, it is also about whatever it can buy. SO WHAT IS THIS ABOUT? Throughout our site we recommend reading and studying, that is to help in the process of acquiring knowledge.
